Who owns Wondara
Wondara is owned by its founder, who also owns a research-peptide business. That is a potential financial conflict of interest, and we would rather state it plainly than leave you to find it.
What Wondara does not do
- Wondara does not sell products.
- Wondara does not link to sellers or vendors, including the founder's business.
- Wondara does not take payment for coverage, and no one can pay to change what a page says about the evidence.
- Wondara does not publish dosing, protocols, reconstitution or sourcing information.
How pages are made and reviewed
Research pages that make claims about the evidence are written from original sources such as trial registries, journal articles and regulatory documents, and each source is cited on the page. Before those claims are published, they are checked against the cited sources and an editor reviews them. Some pages are catalogue records that identify a topic but do not yet carry a published evidence assessment. Labels such as “source checked” and “independently verified” are used only when that check actually happened. When the evidence changes, the page changes with it. How we work explains the method.
How conflicts are handled
- No vendor links, no product recommendations and no dosing or sourcing, on any topic.
- Every topic, including ones relevant to the founder's business, is held to the same evidence standard and content rules.
- We intend to disclose sponsors, affiliations and material conflicts alongside the research they relate to.
- Formal independent governance is a goal we are working toward, not something we claim is already operating.
Your data
Member data is not shared with the founder's other businesses. Wondara's code includes connections that could share pseudonymous member records with an operations system run by the founder's other business; they are switched off. They cannot be turned on until our Privacy Policy discloses it, and even then they would only include records about members who have given separate consent. They would never include your email address, your account ID or the content of your messages.
