Source checked
Does the source exist, and does it actually say what people say it says?
We start with what can be verified now, label what we do not know, and make the evidence better over time.
The mission is not to tell people what to believe. It is to make it unusually easy to see what is known, what is merely reported, what is still unknown, what would resolve the question, and whether we changed our mind when the evidence changed.
Level 1 can be valuable today. Level 6 is earned.
Does the source exist, and does it actually say what people say it says?
What exists, what doesn’t, where does it conflict, and what would change our mind?
A document, product or measurement has been independently checked.
Observed outside a controlled trial, clearly labelled observational.
Protocol locked first, appropriate oversight, controlled collection.
Someone independent got a compatible result.
These are commitments for the capability we are building. A separate Validation Institute entity, independent board, IRB relationship and contracted laboratories are not yet operational.
Protocols and analysis plans are locked before results where that level of work applies.
Funding and conflicts are disclosed.

Affiliated products face the same method, evidentiary standard and publication rules.
When the evidence changes, the public read changes with it.
